Facelifts surgically rejuvenate the face and neck leaving you looking more refreshed and youthful. Ageing is a process of progressive volume loss, tissue descent and diminishing tissue integrity – by addressing each of these three components natural appearing rejuvenation becomes possible.
Although commonly termed “a facelift”, there are many different surgical methods used to perform face lifts ranging from minimally invasive through to extensive multilayer approaches. Dr Masters will advise you as to which combination of face lifting techniques is best suited to your face and neck, and importantly how to maintain your rejuvenated appearance.

Above all else your face lift should look natural, and your skin and muscles move freely with facial animation. By returning descended tissues be to their youthful higher locations, enhancing facial volumes to counter volume loss, and reducing unwanted skin in the jowls and neck, a pleasing rejuvenation is achieved without sacrificing a natural appearance. The incision lines should be optimally placed to ensure they are as discrete as possible.
The aim of your facelift is not to remove every line and wrinkle from your face, that would be an unnatural look, but to reduce them. By gently re-draping your skin over the repositioned deeper structures excess skin can be removed and a more youthful appearance achieved without pulling the skin tight.
