Rhinoplasty, also known as nasal surgery or a “nose job”, is one of the most popular of all plastic surgery procedures. Rhinoplasty is a very powerful procedure that can be used to alter almost any aspect of the nasal appearance.  It can straighten a crooked nose, reduce or increase the size of your nose, change the shape and size of the tip, reduce nasal humps, narrow the span of the nostrils, or fix broken noses, etc.  It can also relieve some breathing problems. Whatever the motivation for seeking nasal reshaping most problems can be fixed.

The term rhinoplasty is used to describe any reconstruction of the external nose, whether this is increasing, decreasing or simply changing the size and shape of the external nose.  If the midline cartilage separating the two sides of the nose, the septum, is also being worked upon the procedure is termed a septorhinoplasty.
