"I had on quite a few occasions' comments from various people saying to me how tired I looked, and I never really took much notice to it or wondered why they said that. I knew I had 'bags' under my eyes, but didn't know how they looked to other people, until it kind of 'clicked' one day that this was the reason for their 'tired' comments. When I looked in the mirror that day, I just thought 'oh my god!'
I didn't know there was a procedure to 'fix' my baggy or puffy lower eyelids or more to the point, I didn't even realize that lower eye lid surgery (blepharoplasty) existed until I had my consultation with John Masters.

Since surgery, my outlook on life has changed so much. Now I feel 'normal' again and can face life in general with a greater happier outlook. I have more confidence when talking to other people face to face, especially the opposite sex! I feel more motivated as I know I don't look tired. It's amazing how the operation results can affect ones subconscious mind, giving you more energy and you don't even realize it.

I have a little shouts of joy when I meet someone I have not seen for a while and they say how great I am looking. Sure, people say that all the time to be polite but I can assure you I did not get that very much at all pre op. When first meeting the opposite sex (as you do!) and the good old question pops up "how old are you?" I now like to say to them "guess!" The answers are always 25 to 28. Not bad for a 34 year old!

Two close work friends said that I "looked younger" with a puzzled looks on their faces after I returned to work from the operation. I told them why a little later. They were amazed and said they would never of guessed. One of them started talking about what bothered him and what he would like to change in his appearance!

I bumped into another colleague from my industry I had not seen for a while. She said, "You look different!" with a smile and puzzled look. I could tell her mind was ticking over but I decided not to disclose my operation to her. I must say, you know you have chosen a great plastic surgeon when friends comment how good you look after never saying that before, and they have no clue as to why they think that. The reason being the final results look so natural (Thank you John!) they cannot tell you have had cosmetic surgery!"

"I am so glad I went through with this surgery. After years of being unhappy about my nose and having to look at it every day to remind me of my discontentment about its shape, after much soul searching I finally took the step of having it re-shaped through surgery. "Thank you so much for the great work that you did, the outcome has been great, I am thrilled with the results, it has enabled me to really fit into old clothes that I wouldn't wear because of the terrible "flap". I have a lot more confidence and have been able to really be happy and content now with the weight loss I had achieved but which was overshadowed by the unsightly "flap" that really annoyed me and took away from my achievements.

Now I am confident to spend all day in a "bathing suit" as I did in Aussie at Wet & Wild, up until now I have been reluctant even to get into a bathing suit let alone spend all day in one.

How has plastic surgery affected my outlook on things?

"I actually feel more of a woman, I feel sexy and positive about the shape of my body. After the surgery was over and the bruising and swelling had gone down, my concerns and fears had gone. Also it was a big weight off my mind, as I felt uncomfortable with my body when I was flat chested".

Do I feel more comfortable with myself?

"YES, definitely. I think my body now looks in proportion and balanced. I am no longer worried about how I look in certain clothes for example swimwear, low-necked tops. I don't feel concerns such as "how can I look as if I have a bust while wearing these clothes." Plastic surgery is obviously fairly permanent, therefore my previous concerns of being flat chested are gone forever and also the hassles of wearing a padded bra. I feel totally comfortable with myself and think I look pretty good for a woman of my age that has had two children. I feel more motivated to do exercise, as I am not embarrassed about my body. Like most women, I love clothes and shopping. I now think clothes look better on me as they fit better and I don't have to have them altered".

Have my friends and family passed comment?

"My husband, loves my new breasts and we are both now enjoying an ever more fulfilled sexual life together. My mother and a close friend said I looked really good and they liked the look of my breasts. To be honest, no-one else has passed comment as (and this is what I hoped for as I did not want to look as if I had had a boob job) they are used to the size of my breasts, as I had always worn a padded bra. On the 'outside' I probably don't look any different. This is fine by me, as I wanted plastic surgery for me and not other people".

I am absolutely thrilled with the results of your surgery. My recovery is going well and the bruising has all but disappeared. The pen marks, as you joked, might be gone in time for Christmas, they're proving a bit stubborn. The insides of my knees are still a bit tender but improving all the time.

My mother has looked at me strangely a few times but no-one has actually asked me directly what I've done. Luckily my sister has been providing plenty of distractions lately so that no-one has noticed that I'm missing 1.7 Litres of Thai green curry coloured fat. Yes, I do have a vague recollection of our surgery conversation!!

I am absolutely delighted with my new face and chin. Yes, it hurt and yes it was worth it. I look back at the old photos and I can't believe the difference. Friends and family look at my old photos and also can't believe it. It's amazing how quickly you forget. I've had people compliment my sunglasses, my haircut, is that new colour I have on my hair, etc. I've yet to have someone say, "hmm, plastic surgery?" That is the testament to what a wonderful job you've done. It looks so completely natural. I've included a recent photo so you can see the latest new me. Yes, I love it, love it, love it. It has given me a new lease on life and I feel confident and happy every time I look in the mirror. Friends who know the truth tell me it's the smartest thing I've ever done.

"This size of my breasts has been an issue which I have struggled with emotionally since being a teenager. I spent considerable years hiding behind padded bras and baggy tops to disguise my tiny imperfections which made me feel less of a woman than other woman that I daily came into contact with. Finding togs or bikinis that had padding that provided a natural 'breast' look was impossible and this resulted in choosing instead not to swim in the summer months.

Once I had my son the size of my breasts decreased even more, leaving me feeling more often than not completely intimidated by surrounding younger teenagers. These teenagers I felt, always looked more womanly that I did and I was ten years their senior!

Having my surgery with Dr Masters has not only increased my breast size but has increased my ability to feel like a 'complete' woman. My self esteem has increased dramatically and shopping for clothing is now a pleasure. In fact before I had the surgery I worked extremely hard to create breasts and now that I have them the emphasis of worrying about my breasts all the time has decreased.

It was my personal choice to increase my breast size to a size that looked natural and suited my small frame. It is for that reason I believe that friends have been so excited about how natural and well suited to my frame size my breasts are now in fact they tell me now that they can no longer remember what size my breasts used to be.

This surgery has been a positive, rewarding experience for me. It has given me back my pride, dignity and belief to be and feel like a sensual, curvy woman for the first time ever.

I will be welcoming the summer months this year and for the first time ever in my life I look forward to spending time purchasing many unpadded bikinis".

"I had always been apprehensive about plastic surgery but after having been through it, I can't speak highly enough regarding the procedure and the results. My self-esteem and pride in appearance has been so uplifted, it has certainly given me a more positive approach to social occasions. In fact, I have recently purchased a set of eye shadows and mascara. This is the first time in years I have worn any eye make-up. Before the operation, all the make-up just disappeared into the folds and the wrinkled bags around the eyes.

Funnily enough, friends and acquaintances have remarked on how bright and fresh I look and all have said, "It must be because you have now reached retirement and no longer work". Not one person has noticed that I have actually been operated on, and this was the look and effect I asked you for. Just like to share my experience to how much this surgery has changed my life. It's a painful and uncomfortable surgery to go through but when you see the end result its all well worth it. I feel great, look good and have so much confidence in myself. I can wear clothes that I was not able to wear before. I love to exercise and it seems like I have so much more energy in me. I have had lovely comments from my families and friends and I am a lot happier person. To anyone thinking of having this surgery I say go for it, sure makes a big difference in yourself. A big thanks to John Masters and his team.

Also I'd like to say a big thank you to Leanne for all your help and support throughout the whole process. You are wonderful.
